A very solid example of early Visual Kei in Japan.
Being my first review, please give me some mercy. I do know some on the subject of this bands type however. First of all it's not Stoner
Doom subtype of metal that the is posted in the main section of the bands' profile. This is a unique style of music originated in Japan called Visual Kei.
What really sticks out in this album as opposed to many other Visual bands from Japan is the diversity in the musical style performed. Many artists in the Visual Kei scene perform similarly, with interchangeable guitar styles and vocals. In regards to this particular album, I will say that the vocals are very generic for a Visual band. However, this band is far from your average Visual Kei band. From sweeping guitar solos to unique bass/guitar harmonization, this band has it all. Also, the spectrum of diverse genres of music between songs really stands out for a Visual band. Being an early Visual band before the scene became generalized, it's not hard to imagine this though, for anyone familiar with the Visual Kei scene.
17/20, and it's astonishing that this band is actually still around, considering most Visual Kei bands have a general life span ranging from 4 months to 2 1/2 years, excluding the most absolute famous bands in the genre.
