LIVE REPORT WASP





It's been a long time that I was waiting for that. WASP in live and plus, not too far to us.
Then this is dubbed of my picture disc " forever free" and of my best marker that I take the road for the Z7, to pratteln
( Switzerland ).
On arrival, the hall is almost empty, and though, a dozen of unconditionnals of WASP hook already to barriers.
A place , only one remains unoccupied, I not rat this occasion and would tap inlays amoung these impatients..
Just bellow the microphone!!!!!
Lights finish lastly by turned off when the first group " House of fears" land... Would be rock'n'roll attitude, most certainlly, but that is all... Aside an astonishing charisma, musically, nothing to say, really not pip...
This is most after that things become interresting, with the arrival of " Fatal Smile", swedish combo, to the transandant charisma, in brief, a very, very good surprise!!!!
With rock songs very percussive, such as " Learn - Love - Hate " , the band as put us immediatelly in the environment, almost shake us a pleasure. With a sound of guitar really pure and efficacious, and some riffs of " the death who kill" ( Like someone says here )!!
Enough to heat the pit and fill the Z7!! Effectively, the hall is now almost full.µ
The decorations installation of WASP begins then.What will take the most time will be the placing of " ELVIS", the famous Blackie's "microphone foot - swing ". Not less 4 persons to carry, install and test it...
A little hello from the drummer and the rest of the band arrives, Blackie headline!!!!
In the very begining of the set list , the tone is given , with the very, very good " On Your Knees", Blackie has absolutely not lost nothing of his mythical voice, and the guitarist, Doug Blair, sends directly the sound of his first solo, in our small attentive ears!!!
This is when Blackie makes a pounce and scales the famous Elvis, doing him to pitch on the right left-hand, the everything, if it pleases you, shakin' head and playin' guitar! Impressing!!! Particulary, when you are just in front of him!!!!
The rest of the show will be all as eventfull cause raving- mads of WASP havn't the intention to let the pressure bring down again,
and chain up with old tracks like " Wild Child" or the very known " I Wanna Be Somebody" mixed up with titles like " Headless"...
Brief, ther were for all tastes!
After ten songs, time of the recall has come, this is after 5 minutes of unchained emananted screams from the crowd, that our God Of Rock came back, visibly happy of the effect provoked by the show.
Then , he announces " Blind In Texas", and now, this is the mania, all the hall tunes up in chorus this mythical track...
The group is boosted and give everything, before disappearing after few minutes of good byes and thanks....
I am in strict time of saying that, at this precise moment ,the sky would have been able to collapse on my head, I woul nothing have felt!!!!
I wish sincerely to anyone to see a concert of WASP, cuse this is really a great Rock'n'roll moment!!!
