In 1996 the band acted under the name Morbia and the members were Pimedus, Abathon and Thonolan but soon they renamed the band to Realm of Carnivora. The new band had many rises and also tides. Also some releases and lives. Members were changing and one bigger break...
Year 2004 - the new era. Our former vocalist Pimedus rejoined and our session bass player Argoth became a permanent member. The band name was changed to URT which means in Southern Estonian Setu language death. The name change was due to the change of our music style - primal fast black metal turned to quite ownstylish pagan/black metal.

In 2004 Urt recorded 2 releases "Pimedusesõdalased" demo wich was released as a split with several Estonian acts under Hexenreich Records Estonia in 2004 and debute album "Varjuring" was released by ourselves in March 2005. "Varjuring" comes in a special digicase edition limited to only 100 copies, booklet includes all lyrics.

After the release of "Varjuring" Oliver joined the band as guitar player. After that we started to prepare our first live that took place in Saarjärve (as trio). First live with full line-up was at Rockstars (12.08.2005). Besides frequent rehearsals we also started to write songs to our second album. In autumn we are planning to record it. In september Regimental Records USA is going to release "Varjuring" in tape format.
