Upir was founded in january 2011 by Legion (Morkr) and Skogen (Skogen, Semper Fidelis, Ciemnosci). Upir plays Diabolical Black Metal in the style of old scene from the '90.

At the beginning of 2011, the band had a proposition to unleash a split-tape with another polish band, but due incompetence of the publisher, this release never came to an end.

In that time, the band has recorded some tracks for a MCD titled "Possession" that will be released this year (2012) by Eastside Records.

Upir also is rehearsing material for full-lenght CD album.
