The Trinakrius project, a sound group (Doom Heavy Metal), was born in Palermo in 1995. In 1996 we produce our first work, a demo tape entitled “Intrinakrius”. It meets quite good critics on several heavy metal magazines. Notwithstanding the reasonable success and the numerous performances in various pubs of the city and its province, we split up for a number of reasons by the end of that same year. During the six years we were apart we al had, on our own, musical experiences in other bands as Holy Knights, Acacia, Synthesys, Black Twilight, and still others. After this interval, in 2002 all five of us get together to record a new hit, “Inquisantism” mini concept based on the Inquisition, and thanks to the positive reviews both on a national and international level the band signs his first contract with the “Doom Symphony”, an Italian label. With the “Doom Symphony” we record our first official CD titled “Sancta Inquisitio”, this one, as the previous EP Inquisantism has a good review from the most remarkable international magazines. After having presented the CD in several pubs of the city and its surroundings, the band in July 2006 is contacted by some organizers of a German Festival named Headbangers open air, from Hamburg. In this city we introduced our music on an international level achieving great results as for exhibition and sales. After such a wonderful experience we immediately get done to work to realize our new album We set for a new three songs promo to spread around recording studios. Unfortunately our singer, for very serious reasons, had to leave the band and today Flavio Rezza, aged 21, voice in the prestigious chorus of Palermo Teatro Massimo, performs and sings with us.
