Biografia : Toxic Narcotic

Toxic Narcotic formed out of Boston, MA in the summer of 1989 as a three piece with Bill Damon (bass, lead vocals), Will Sullivan (guitar, vocals) and Kevin Barnello on drums. This lineup released several records and in 1994 the band booked its first tour and hit the road. After a couple of records and tours Bill decided he would rather concentrate on vocals and pass on the bass duties to someone else.

In 1996, Joe Rizzi joined the band on bass and soon after Kevin decided to move on due to different musical interests.

In 1997, long time friend and roadie Sam Jodrey took over on the drums and has been with us ever since. Sam was the roadie for TN on our first two tours and was part of the family since the band started. Because of this we have always considered him an original member.

In 1998, Joe moved to Seattle and long time supporter and friend Ben Upton joined the band. Ben was proficient with many instruments including bagpipes, accordion and mandolin. Ben would often play bagpipes while Bill played bass, and the band would do an instrumental to start of the show. Ben and Will would often play sessions at local bars or various pubs on the road as well.

In 2000, Ben left the band and after a few minor adjustments and temporary band members we found a replacement.

In the summer of 2002, Seager Tennis joined the band as our new bass player. This lineup toured regularly until the beginning of 2005 when Seager decided that it was time for him to move on !

Though we have been through several bass players over the years the core line up of Bill, Will and Sam remains the same ! Most of the past fifteen years is a complete blur and our recollection of events is a bit vague but at some point we will write a more detailed history of the band !
