Biografia : Serenity In Silence

Influenced from the beginning by bands such as Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge and many others, Serenity in Silence is starting to build itself a distinctive sound which is brutal and contemporary, not hesitating to point out this world's infamies and social stupidities.

Arrived in the quebec metal scene in 1999 and releasing a first serious demo during 2000, changes will then make things grow. It's with an official singer that the march will continue and allow a first full length album: The Abstract Concept of Reflexion (2003).

Many shows will then take place with the likes of Raised Fist, GFK, I Hate Sally, Beneath the Massacre, Never More Than Less and will lead the band in various places of the Quebec province.

After that, Serenity in Silence will count on this album for a few years, composing new songs as well as with the temporary left of some members for study purpose. It's also during this period that four songs will be placed on various compilations, especially two never heard before, and that a guitarist will be thanked for his services.

It's finally during 2007 that the second full lenght will hit the market (Trends and Friends) and that a new guitarist will join the band.

Now supported in their work by prestigious quebecois label New Horizon, Serenity in Silence won't get down or influenced by the actual easy listening music trend... however, they don't upgrade their claws very longer 'cause, unlikely, they disbanded 1 year after (Trends and Friends) release.
