Formed in San Salvador in the year 2005 for Oscar Perla (guitar) and Inti Chavez (guitar), Santeria begins its essays only with two of his guitarists and with the vision of doing strong metal in Spanish, so they begin its firsts essays and searching of two more members to give form to the project, as well as at the end of 2005 after several auditions drummers and bassists of the national show business finally came Roberto Tevez (drums) and Carlos Alvarez(bass). Already at the beginning of 2006, the band starts to get form to the songs that they had in the first six months of the year and to create more songs for his repertoire, in this way the band after one year go to the studio and recorder his first demo The song " in God We Trust " is the first single of the band and it was released on August of 2007.
