Based in Marl, an area which is known in the german metal scene through bands like NINNGHIZHIDDA,ETERNAL DIRGE, TSATTHOGGUA, DESTILLERY and a bunch of other metal bands for more than ten years, the deathmetal band RECTIFICATED was found in 1995. Having to deal with several line-up changes through the years, the band kept the death metal spirit, showing it´s relentless intensity in several local shows.

2002 sees the release of the 3-track Demo Searching For a New Soul as an impressive prove of the bands skills. Produced by Sascha Risseler (NINNGHIZHIDDA), the demo features blasting death metal anthems right in the veign of Cannibal Corpse and Bolt Thrower, showing the band undoubtedly as one of germanys most talented unsigned metalbands. Being distributed to all essential magazines, labels and mailorders and supported by upcoming live performances, this recording marks the beginning of a new chapter in the bands creative history.
