Nocternity were formed officially early at the Easter of 1997 by Khal Drogo and recorded 8 tracks of old kind Black Metal that were never released till 2004 because of the necessary changes in the first line up. In July 1998 Merkaal from Order of the Ebon Hand joined the band as a full member and recorded in February-July 1999 the debut album entitled ‘En Oria'. This material was released on cd by ISO666 records and on LP by Fog Of The Apocalypse records. From March-November anno 2000 Nocternity recorded their second half opus under the title “Crucify Him” that was released by KYRCK productions and ISO666 records in 600 digipack copies in October 2001..After this release Nocternity split with ISO666 records and joined Solistitium Records. Next year a split 7” with Kawir was released by Sombre records in 350 copies. September 2002 started the recording of “Onyx” this time with G.Potenti of Handfull of Hate/Frostmoon Eclipse (IT) in the drum session and also with the contribution of members of Kawir and Vinterriket, and was released late 2003 by Solistitium Records. The year 2004 Solistitium records re-released the sold out “En Oria/Crucify Him” on 1 cd and also 2 split eps were released, with Akitsa (CA) by Forever Plagued records containing an unreleased 1998 track and with Morrigan(GER) by Hellkult productions with a new track. October 2004 “A Fallen Unicorn” CD/LP is released containing the unreleased trax from the “Onyx” album. This year a steady line up is established in the band for the future recordings with C.Ziegler (Vinterriket) on keys and Vorksath (Zemial) in cymbals. Next planed release is the already recorded split ep with Nastrond (SWE) early 2005.
