Biografia : Nameless Orchestral Project

In fall 1991, Ben DANIEL & Jef LE LIN met for the first time. However, NAMELESS ORCHESTRAL PROJECT as a name was just found in late 2006. Creative process begins in April 2000 by Ben's poetry, written with his dawning depression. Thereby, themes are in total opposition with all kind of optimism and hope : unhappy love, melancholy, suicide, madness and some irreligious touch. NAMELESS ORCHESTRAL PROJECT's lyrics will be based on this early poetry, nevertheless rearranged for music. Ben's first compositions emerge during summer 2003. All of them are constructed on one and only scale, preferably minor. Then, in late 2003, it's in Jef's turn to elaborate a music initially influenced by Black Metal to break off with it afterwards. In 2004, Jef takes the initiative in doing the firsts recordings. At this time, his recording method was to put a microphone in front of a 15 watt amplifier, directly plugged in his sound card's computer... Then, he gradually improved his methods, acquiring new digital recorders. Ben's first endeavours date from summer 2005, but his defeatist nature brings about nothing from that... He never thought of re-recording his music before January 2007, and this time, his attempts were conclusive. During summer 2007, their first album Gott ist Tot is recorded in their own home studio. The main theme about nihilism, in the most of its forms, is advocated.
