MY OWN CREATION is a Death Metal band from Maracay, Venezuela. Some fellow musicians gathered in the year of 2007 to make brutal Death Metal with a lot of melodic and progressive arrangement, what we got from this is a strong and technical band that has a good reputation in their country.

They have shared the stage with Belphegor (austria), Blind Guardian (germany), and a bounch of local and brutal bands like Epitafio, Demise, Noxious and many more.

Due to their underground success and the released of the acclaim "Upwards, Downwards" single, the band signed last 2011 with the Venezuelan metal label Melomaniac Metalmedia Records.

Having released two Singles, being part of several well known Metal Compilations in their country, a lot of shows in their back and with the excelent feedback from the fans and media, now they are ready to launch their debut album called THE ENCOUNTER! this record its now available thanks to the Venezuelan Metal Label "MELOMANIAC METALMEDIA RECORDS".

Last 2012 they were nominated in 2 categories for the "Melomaniac: Rock & Metal 2012 Awards" for: *Best new band. and *Best Rock and Metal album release (The Encounter. 2012).
