MISTIGO VARGGOTH DARKESTRA is the dark project of Knjaz Varggoth (also the leader of the Kharkiv band NOKTURNAL MORTUM). As Knjaz Varggoth needed a project to express his most inner feelings and thoughts, he creates, writes and records the music for Mistigo.
His first albums "Midnight Fullmoon" (1994), "Paganism" (1996) and "Wolf's Eye" (1996, original title - "When...") were the fully instrumental acts stretching more towards the ambient genre. "Midnight Fullmoon" MC was released in 1997 by MetalAgen Records (Russia).

In the autumn of 1998 Knjaz Varggoth recorded "The Key To The Gates Of Apocalypse", an one-track concept album that totals over 72 minutes long. This can be regarded as a mixture of apocalyptic metal and strangulating ambience. CD was released on the June, 1, 1999 by The End Records (USA). In Autumn 1999 Oriana Production is releasing "The Key To The Gates Of Apocalypse" in MC format.

In 2000 Slava Productions (Poland) under licence of Oriana Production is releasing "Midnight Fullmoon" and "Insatiable Moon" ("Paganism" (without one song) + "Wolf's Eye") in MC format...
