Massacre Conspiracy a.k.a MC16 is a band hailing from Selayang, Kajang and Petaling jaya in Selangor, formed in the middle of 2008. Massacre Conspiracy is a metalcore band, consisting of founding members Ash (mid 'metalcore' screams), Mio (high screams), Sonny (guitar), Ali (guitar), Ashy (bass), and Emy (drummer). MC16 is mostly known for their upbeat music and interesting live performance.
Within several months of hard work, MC16 has produced their first single "Start Looking Towards the Sky" and they took every chances to promote their single by hitting the stage on every show they get.
In the end of 2008, Ax from Ballad For Layla offers himself to join the band, filling MC16's music with his keyboards and synthesizers set. Started from that moment MC16 has decided to change their music genre to melodic metalcore. Then two of the founding members Ali (guitarist) and Ashy (bass) had to call it quit due to commitment issues on early 2009. MC16 decided to took One Jet from Ballad For Layla to fill in bass player. Godoy, later after that joined the band as guitarist.
With their current solid line-up, MC16 started to concentrate on producing more material. MC16 released their demo entitled The Prophecies. The Prophecies got a lot of positive feedbacks and not to forget some critics from the professionals. The Prophecies also lead the band to the further exposure in the music industry mostly in underground scene.
At the end of 2009, MC16 has decided to participate in ROTTW Soundstage. ROTTW Soundstage is where all the bands around the country gathered and fight their way to grab the champion belt and also a platform for MC16 to go further on their journey. Surprisingly, MC16 has been announced as the champion of ROTTW Soundstage's winner and that shows MC16 has entered the next level. Through that, MC16 started to get more serious to prepare for their next challenge.
