MALLEUS MALEFICARUM was created by S.N and Mastema after the split of their former band AUTOPSY (Fr/Death-Trash Metal) in 1997 and were soon joined by Tamas and Ahriman. After a few live acts the band was completed by the arrival of Chluhu allowing them to record their first demo followed by an autoproduced album named " Heic Noenum Pax " (300 copy - no more available) which was distributed though out france by labels such as Holy Records, Adipocere Records, etc...
In march 2000 the band confirmed their will to play brutal Black Fucking Metal and released their second demo " Zarach'Baal'Tharagh " (150 copy - Sold Out) which was distributed by Black Pocession Records (fr), Drakkar Production (fr) Of Pure Blood (usa), Supernal Music (U.K) and many more (see orders).

At the begining of July 2000, Cthulu left the band after understanding that he had nothing to do with Black Metal. Then Malleus Maleficarum, composed and played new songs on various gigs . On september 2001, M.M recorded their new opus "Taedium Vitae" , a 9 tracks cd , this one is finally released by the french label OAKEN SHIELD on 30 April 2002.
