Biografia : Kaoscentrica

KAOSCENTRICA was formed in 2002 by Ngen Kurüf, Qurüñum and Encina. During that time, they worked hard in the rehearsal room, creating songs; recruiting in December, Nestor, as a bassplayer.

In the beginning of 2003, the band played live for first time at “METAL OF LORDS” in Penco city. Few days after that, Nestor leaves the band for unknown reasons. Anyway, KAOCENTRICA focused its search into new influences, like Immolation, Cannibal Corpse and Swedish death metal.

The band began to play live again with Gore Strings (Miguel) in bass, completing the line up once more. In that period, the band recorded a rehearsal demo containing 5 songs, wich one was distributed to webzines and magazines into some Chilean cities.

By early 2004, KAOSCENTRICA recorded their first Demo EP. It was called “50.000 Corpses”, in honour to the conquerors who died in hands of the mapuche warriors, in Arauco’s War (between the 1500 to 1900 years aprox). The work contains 3 songs and an intro.

This demo had cool reviews, so the band started been invited to play out of Concepción (The city were the horde was aligned). That way, KAOSCENTRICA played in Valdivia, Talca, Los Angeles, and many others.

After several shows, the band focused in working in the recording process of their first album. Finally, the album was recorded by Sebastián Puente, mixed and mastered by Carlos Gonzalez. In 2007 the band recruited 2 new musicians due to the fact that Encina was forced to leave the band. "Niddhögr" came to replace him and played in april of 2008, in the 10 years Soulburner’s anniversary in Concepción, along with his new band mates.

A year later, while the band was working on new songs for their new album, Qurüñum decided to leave the band for personal reasons, so Ngen Kurüf had to make deep changes to continue the battle.

In July of 2009, ex UDK Alejandro Espinosa joined as a session guitarist, and KAOSCENTRICA started again to work on new material.
