Biografia : Infernal Maze

Biography :

Infernal Maze was formed in August 1998, in Cracow by Przemek Druzkowski.
Around December of the same year, it consisted of : Lukasz Filipczak - drums, Robert Ferenc - bass, Michal Senajko (ex- Sceptic, Thy Disease) - vocals, Przemek Druzkowski - guitar. At that time first concerts took place.

In February Piotr Wozniakiewicz (guitar) joined and took part in recording of the first, 3-track demo.

In August Michal Huk (Serpentia) replaced Robert Ferenc on bass, and sometime later ..ba (drums, ex-Sceptic) played some concerts with the band and recorded drums on "Epoch of the Dead". EP, which consists of 4 tracks of technical, yet melodic death metal and an intro, was officially released through Mad Lion Records as a split-cd with Hypnos.

From December 1999 until May 2000 there was no drummer and bass player. In May Lukasz Kuras (drums), and Marcin Halerz (bass) joined.

On 14 July 2000 Infernal Maze played on Silesia Open Air Festival in Czech Republic (together with Behemoth, Lux Occulta, Dark Funeral and Altar to name a few).

After the summer break, Marcin Halerz took over the vocals, but despite his talent, band decided to find a vocalist.

January 2001 brought another personal changes - Piotr Wozniakiewicz left Infernal Maze. The search for new musicians lasted until May, when Marcin Hanusiak (vocal) and Maciek Stankiewicz (guitar) took their duties.

Since then, Infernal Maze regularly play concerts (numerous gigs with such bands as Devilyn, Thy Disease and others).

In September 2002 band finished the recording of their second official material entitled "Psychical Homicide" consisting of four brand new tracks. Those tracks are still death-metal, but they seem to reach a higher level of musical craftsmanship along with creating a brutal sound.
