Biografia : Imminent Annihilation

The band was formed around October 2011 by lead guitarist Connor and former drummer Jamie. However, we were met with issues those first few months with constant change in the line up when vocalists were concerned. Finally, in February 2012, we stumbled across our current vocalist Jordan and everything began to fall into place. Things weren't stable for long though, as our rhythm guitarist left and tensions began to form around our drummer. Eventually we replaced our old drummer with Harry Godfrey who was close friends with Jordan and played with him before. After several months of different rhythm guitarists we finally got back our original guitarist Joe. This was followed shortly with the arrival of Jack, our bassist, replacing our former bassist Sam after he decided he couldn't focus completely on the band. After two years of a steady line up, a final change was made with the departure of Jack on bass. Joe then decided to move to bass instead of rhythm guitar and Harry's brother George took over where Joe left off.

We as a band like to think of ourselves as a diverse band due to the diverse styles of writing we hold. Although very influenced and interested in writing heavy songs like Lamb of God, we are also open to writing music more on the 'softer' side like Opeth. Nevertheless, it is fair to say the many bands influence us on the way we put together our music.

Currently at this moment in time we are recording for our first EP,titled 'The Annex Between Creation and Annihilation'. We aim to have everything finished by October/November 2014. Once completed we will then be focussing on writing and preparing songs for our first full album which we're hoping to record at the end of 2015.

Of course one day we want to become as big as our inspirations and play on stages such as Download and Bloodstock, however, at the moment we are just going to take it one step at a time. We've played with a lot of great bands over the past two and a half years and hope that the friendships we made can benefit all of us in our goals.
