FEARVISIONS are born from the ashes of Iced Hunter, who played and recorded around Quebec City between 2001 and 2005. The band broke up and guitarist Patrick Gravel (no, not the one from Hanker!) and singer Marc Bergeron stayed, and together they kept on working their project for two years, jamming along programmed drum tracks. Gravel's sound and ultra-fast lead guitar licks became a distinct signature of the future band to come as well as Bergeron's voice, unique and powerful.

The duo lacked a spark to really ignite the mixture and it came with Sébastien Maltais, lyricist, and his bass guitar. He brought politically engaged, history charged opinions to the band. Drummer Christophe Icard, moving from France to Canada. completed the formation for a 9 month hiatus but left because of health problems. February 2009 saw the return of former Iced Hunter drummer Dominic Thomassin within the band. His involvement and work ethic are now an important par of the project. FEARVISIONS is a name translating very well their concerns about our world.
