Expulser was a band formed by Alessandro "Profano" (vocals), Weber "D.Strike" Daeahmon (guitar and vocals), Alessandro "Insulter" (bass) and Marcon´n "Crasher" Rodrigues (drums) in the late 1960s. With a Thrash feel, Expulser released this split right at the beginning of their career and had the strength to record two more albums (one in 92, on Cogumelo Records, and one in 2006, independently). legend has it that Weber Dahemon converted to Protestantism and, due to problems with previous band members, the last known line-up managed to end the band's guttural agony.
Expulser emerged in 1989, when death metal was just a heavier style derived from thrash, and at a time when bands like Metallica still made more noise for their music, than for the congratulations that surrounded them.
