Vidar (guitar), Nathuruss (bass, voc) a Daemonic (guitar) form along with Beherit (drums) the band Tombfield, producing metal music influenced by the british doom metal school and different bands. In the beginning, they rehearse at Daemonic's place and play mostly cover versions of the famous bands, such as "Sleeping Beauty" from Tiamat or "Free" from Gladiator.
Vidar composes the first original song of the band, "The Fields of Tombs"
Tombfield move to DK Ruzinov rehearsal room, where they rehearse among well-known Slovak bands: The Last Days of Jesus, Bloody Mary, Candy Core, or Metalinda. Vidar and Nathurussom begin creating new songs "Forever", "Prophecy", "The Depths of Styx", and "Gathering of the Lost"...
The forming members decide do enrich the band for the keyboards and female vocals, influenced by the bands the guys listened to in that time. Rhaa on keyboards and Marcelle on female vocals join the band... As these changes happen, Vidar proposes the band renames to Ethereal Pandemonium that the rest of the band accept.
Ethereal Pandemonium play their first gig in Rock Pop Jazz club in Bratislava, along with Mortal Infected, Dysanchely a Depresy... Except their own songs, they also play Paradise Lost cover "The Last Time".
The band composes "1998 anno domini", "The Depths of Styx" is re-composed into the brand new form and guys begin working on "When the Dusk Comes..."
The band decides to end the cooperation with Beheritom. Daemonic and Marcelle decide to leave, too. Both brothers form the hardcore band Cry Out. Ethereal Pandemonium rehearse with the drummer named Tschorth, finishing "When the Dusk Comes...".
The second gig takes place in DK Vajnorska, with Mortal Infected, Dysanchely and Dementor. The Culture House is sold out and Ethereal Pandemonium have the audience of more than 400 people. After the gig, guys fire Tschorth and begin the search for the new drummer.
Demogorgon joins the band on drums, along with De Sade Soliloquay on the co-vocals, the band finishes the song called "A Winter Solstice Eve". They all move to the garage in the Port of Bratislava.
The female vocalist post is finally occupied by Countess Ekorn. This is the line up for the Shitfest performance in Zilina.
One week before the christmas, the band records their debut album "A Winter Solstice Eve" in IRS Bernolak studio in Bratislava.
Album "A Winter Solstice Eve" is released at Dark Night's Sky, led by Darkoldusom who becomes the group manager. EP play gigs all over Slovakia, on the gig in Rock Pop Jazz Bratislava, the new album is baptized by The Last Days of Jesus.
The second guitarrist Herr Doktor joins the band. One week after this, he plays the gig with Ethereal Pandemonium.
Beside playing the summer gigs, the band composes the material for the new album.
EP enter the studio again, this time it is Moonset in Sala. Beside sis new songs recorded, another three are composed in the studio: "The Tragedy of Macbeth", intro "Princeps Satyrorum" and "In the Twilight of the Third". Also the guest from the Slovak Philharmonic Choir, Jana Blahova takes part in the recordings. The title for the records is being chosen from different proposals, finally, the name "Dysangelium" is chosen on Rhaa's proposal (that won over Vidar's Dark Age Philosophy, or Rhaa's "Arcanum Lunae"). After a short time, the name is re-elected "Arcanum Lunae".
Arcanum Lunae MC is released in Dark Night's Sky. Most of the reviews is positive, only some orthodox blackers oppose the melodics and the atmospherics of the material. EP continue playing live...
Cult Czech label Leviathan records propose the band to release the Arcanum Lunae on CD. Tha band accepts. After the gig is Dubnany in Moravia, CZE, Vidar and Darkoldus travel to Ostrava to assist by the graphic layout of the CD booklet.
CD Arcanum Lunae is released at Leviathan records. The rest of the year is stained with the loss of the rehearsal room and temporary rehearsing at colleagues Ravenarium. After several disagreements, Countess Ekorn leaves the band. Her place stays vacant for a long time.
EP move into the new rehearsal room in the Nuclear Shelter, where in the extreme wet, they continue working on the new songs. The unfriendly time begins for the band, reflecting on the mood of its members.
Nathuruss announces his leaving the band, planned after finishing the recordings. For the impossibility to rehearse the vocals in the RR conditions, the band decides to record first the instrumental parts and rehearse the vocals with them..
The instrumental track is finished after several problems.First the guitar amp showed up ineffective, afterwards both guitarrist's instruments fail. In the end, the band finds that the bass line must be re-recorded too.
Inspired by Nathuruss' departure, Vidar takes care of the vocals. The female vocals are rehearsed by Jana Blahová. The female spoken word is given to Rhaa's friend from Nitra, Suzanne...
The band records the vocals at Moonset studio. All the singers take part: Nathuruss, De Sade Soliloquay, Vidar, Jana Blahova and Suzanne (spoken word in Resistance Manifesto, Venus et Adonis and Thy Kingdom Burn and the vocals on Perinbaba Theme).
The band sends out the promo CD to different labels across Europe, looking for the label to release their new CD, named "[email protected]" (symbolising the absurdity and the contrariety and cynism of Vidar's lyrics, being written in its own "Dark Age", but also the desire to connect the traditional with the new and innovative). In spite of several efforts, the activity is not effective. Nathuruss leaves the band.
Demogorgon begins to session at Terra Abyss, the music group lead by Zuzana, the female singer of former Fatal Error. Ethereal Pandemonium get to know her this way and ask her for a help with some gigs.
Vidar and Zuzana enter the studio for the third time in jesus recording sessions, to re-record the vocal track on Perinbaba Theme. Zuzana's magnificent vocal thus takes part on the new ablum.
Vidar and his long time pal, Martin Pollák create the booklet graphics for the new album and everything seems to be ready for "[email protected]" to be released.
The CD comes out in cooperation of Dark Night's Sky and Esprit records, after some problems with the first edition, the CD is released on CD-R's.
The band films the material for their first music video "Wisdom". Directed by Vidar, the shots of the band are made, along with the story part, played by Zuzana and the young actress Andrea Ozabalova. All filming is done in the basement interiors of the old house in Bratislava's Mlynske Nivy neighborhood.
The second day of the shooting, this time in the forests of The Small Carpathia, the materials for the second part of the movie are made.
The band is joined for an examinational time by a new bassist, Wlad, who previously played guitar in Fatal Error and Terra Abyss and is also a brother of Zuzana.
The Winter Solstice is celebrated with the memorable performance in Duna gallery in Bratislava. "A Winter Solstice Eve 2002" gig with the performances of the three most significant metal bands of Bratislava: Galadriel, Orkrist and Ethereal Pandemonium. The EP performance is being filmed by the cameraman Julo Toma.
Wlad definitely becomes a member of Ethereal Pandemonium. Due to the both-sided loss of interest, De Sade Soliloquay leaves the band and the line-up therefore remains in six: Vidar, Rhaa, Herr Doktor, Demogorgon, Zuzana and Wlad. Vidar begins to edit the "Wisdom" video.
The video is finished. Beside the original shots, it is added with the live shots of the december Duna performance. The band plays Sunrise open air fest on the Danube's Southern bank with headliners Waltari from Finnland.
The band works on the new, previously unnamed material. Songs such as "Vespertine", "Omen", along with the "older" new stuff such as "expressionism:razorblade", "Naiadian", or "Heathenlegia". The band also arranges a cover of "Stay" from Shakespeare's Sisters, a group known from the first half of the 90's.

Rehersal room is devastated by flood and the band exists in temporary conditions.
The first guitar links for the 4th album are recorded at Semish's home studio.
Complete drums for the new album are recorded at Vrabec's studio in two days.
"A Winter Solstice Eve vol.3" takes place in Babylon with more than 600 people attended. Rhaa, Herr Doktor and Vidar have their hair cut in mentioned order.
Recording is slown down by temporary rehersal room, Semish's removal to the new apartment and by the band's "laziness".
The band starts to rebuild the new rehersal room with bands So What? and Tears Aside.
