Episode 13 was formed in June 2001 by Ozan(vocals), Murat(guitars) and Can(drums). Since that time the band released a 2 track demo cd "Expected Damnation" (2003), a Split Ep with Sadistic Spell (2003), their first full length album "Tabula Rasa" (2005), they also contributed a track (Forlorn...Till Dawn) to "Metal Message Vol. III" compilation cd (2006) and finally the greatly anticipated new opus "Pitch Black"(2008). The band performed at several festivals & tours in the country and appeared as the support acts for bands like SLAYER, MARDUK, VADER, ROTTING CHRIST, MOONSPELL, UDO, AGATHODAIMON...In october 2007, Episode 13 headlined a short Russian Tour and got very good reactions from the audience and the press.

The track "Forlorn...Till Dawn" performed particularly well on radio broadcasts (especially in Argentina, France, Canada) and locally, and on compilation cds both local and abroad. The band became more seriously regarded and appreciated by magazines and webzines in the scene. In February 2006 videoclip for the track "Forlorn...Till Dawn" was ready and it was released via internet after the premier at Dream Tv's "Yuxexes" programme. After founder member Ozan's and bassist Meric's departure from the band, Tolgahan (ex-Witchtrap) and Sermet joined the band as the new vocalist & bassist. Episode 13's new album "Pitch Black" will be distributed by INFERNUS REX DISTRIBUTION in the Netherlands, Belgium , Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before the release of the new opus, Episode 13 part ways with their vocalist Tolgahan. After a 2 years of break, the founder member & voice Ozan Akyol has rejoined the unholy union. With gathering of the infidel trio, the band will continue to spread their evil propaganda and performing the supreme art with the sound of black metal magic.
