Dictated was founded in 2006 by Sonja under the name of STONE SQUAD in Utrecht, Holland. After a line-up change Dictated found it's basis in Kampen, Holland with the following members:

Yelmer Drums (EREBUS)
Sven Bass (EREBUS)
Ruud Vocals
The first performance of the band was well received by critics. Because of this show the band decided to start recording a promo album which will be released on Springstof Fesival 23-08-2008. With the five death metal songs on the promo Suppressing All Who Refuseand shows, Dictated will show were the band stands for: technical death metal with old school and thrash influences.
