Biografia : Charm Designer

The late history of Charm Designer begins back in 2001 (even though we didn't start to work under this name until mid 2002) when Diego Miranda (bass), Carlos Mora (synth) and Daniel Salgado (drums) decided to restart from the ashes of a previous project that for diverse reasons didnt work out and was interrupted during 2000.
At this point, Charm Designer starts to seek their own path first by trying to complete a solid and stable line-up, which was a task full of obstacles and stumbles that are very common in this environment.

Some members joined the band for short or not-so-short periods of time but then in early 2004 the project was back in its original shape.
The band spent all this time working by theirselves, fitting together and questioning their sound and its projection.
During this last stage, surrounded by auditions and rehearsals, Charm Designer starts the production of their first home-recorded and mixed demo, in which Alejandro Miranda (in a special collaboration) performed and recorded all the guitars.

Meanwhile, about the middle of 2005 the band makes contact with Andres Herrera (vocals).
This meeting ends with his joining to the project with the mission of merging his vocals with Charm Designer's compositions.
As soon as this process got to a satisfactory point to the whole band, they proceed to finally complete the recording of their debut demo entitled Manifested incorporating Andres' vocals to put and end point to each one of the three tracks that took part in it.

Manifested was finally available in March of 2006 and the band tried to get to know this release performing some local shows through 2006.

In April of 2007 Daniel leaves the country, but before that, the band takes the decision to record their material professionally.
After the preproduction, 5 songs were ready to get recorded.
Daniel recorded the drums and left in April, the rest of the band entered the studio through June and July.
The audio was ready in August.
In parallel, the band started auditions in order to find their new drummer and in the end Diego Morales joined Charm Designer behind the drumkit.

During December, the project of releasing the recordings on a mini-album continued taking shape and the concept of the release was clearer. The life and blood of the band will be testified in it. It is our life flowing through the songs, and because of that, it was entitled BLOOD SOUNDS.
In January of 2008 the artwork (shapen by Alejandro Ortiz) was ready and BLOOD SOUNDS was finally released on March 15th.
