Biografia : Black Funeral

The American band Black Funeral was formed in 1993 by Baron Drakkonian Abaddon (born Michael Ford Nachttoter). He was then 17 years old and had left his old band Sorath. They released three albums before Abaddon disbanded Black Funeral in 1997 since he felt disgusted with the increasingly sorry state of black metal culture. He lost interest in metal in general and went on to work on his new project Valefor, an experimental industrial band influenced by magic and the occult. He did however release one more album under the name Black Funeral but this time the music had changed completely from black metal to avantgardistic industrial with the focus on the night side, succubi, necrophelia, vampirism, s/m, bondage, and sorcery. "Moon Of Characith" is the musical result of Michael and Shanna LeJeune's experiments of the Characith Lunar Lodge, which operated independently between 1997 and 1998, focused on the workings of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena), Necromancy, and Night Side tree of Daath, being hidden knowledge. This album is a collection of nocturnal desires, invocations, spells worked through sound. Varcolaci exist by the Trapezoid.
