Biografia : Bispora

Formed in mid 2011, Bispora is made up of the remaining members of the departed band "Decollate" and newly recruited members Greg and Ethan.

Many of the current members were in bands together through out the years leading up to the formation of Bispora. Such bands include Kharmacide, Tyrant, Elaborate the Silence and the earliest version of the current band, Decollate, which was formed in 2007. Several line-up changes occured and the final one included Josh Paniagua - Guitar, Michael Tallman - Guitar, Lorenzo Arreguin - drums, and John Castberg - bass.

After recording several demos and playing numerous local shows in the Sacramento area, Decollate went on hiatus, and then later on disbanded in the summer of 2010.

In mid June of 2011, Josh Paniagua wrote and recorded a demo of new material, in which he intended on using for a new band. John Castberg, and Michael Tallman were imediatly on board. Shortly after Ethan Gilliam and Greg Chastain, who had both played in other local bands in the area, were added to the roster and the production of the debut EP, "The Cycle" was put into action. This was documented via studio footage, which can be found on the band's official Youtube channel.

"The Cycle", was released via internet on August 26 of the same year and was met with praise and postive response. Many reviews and mentions began to appear all over the net and the band started building the foundation for what could eventually become a solid fanbase all over the globe. They began playing live shows early 2012 and have shared the stage with acts such as Rings of Saturn, and Journal.

In late 2011/early 2012, writing for the follow up to, "The Cycle" entitled, "The Pineal Chronicle", began and the band started receiving air play on the college radio station KSSU, as well as other stations on the east coast. Members of the band made an appearance on KSSU for a live interview and live videos were shot and posted onto Youtube of one of thier most recent performances, in which they play a new song for the first time live.

A live DVD entitled, "The Cycle Live" is going to be shot and released this summer, and the groups next studio release, "The Pineal Chronicles" will be released in early fall. The band plans on going on a mini tour following the release of the new album.

Keep an eye on this band, big things are about to happen.
