Biografia : Bad Ambition

The band was born in 1998 and came from the ashes of the prog- band Eden, which had recorded a song in the 1996 ”Help Bosnia now” compilation. So, Alex Crini: bass, Andrea Mosconi: guitar and Andrea Palli: drums were joined by ex vocalist of Empty Tremor (a prog band which recorded the 1995 promo-tape “Apokolokyntosys”, where the vocal performances were extremely well reviewed by national magazines) Matteo Babini and the keys- player Davide Liverani. In early 1999 Davide Liverani has been replaced by Alessio Mosconi, so the new line-up took part in quality of”headliner” to the mini festival “ Under The Heavy “ at Music Planet Rock Club in Faenza-Ravenna. The band also appeared among the most important bands of the regional mini festival “Day of Thunder” in Imola-Bologna. In September 1999 guitar player Andrea Mosconi had been replaced by Mirko Guerra (who recorded the 1996 demo-tape “project” best-marked in all guitar magazines and played in the rock-musical “Rent” produced by Luciano Pavarotti and Nicoletta Mantovani). This line up came in studio and recorded the debut album “Daydream”. This album had been entirely played live (still in quality of “headliner”) in Music Planet Rock Club in early 2000. Bad Ambition signed for a new Italian label: Midnight Records (adivision of Northwind Records) specialized in Hard Rock/AOR. In autumn 2001, will be disposable the Bad Ambition album with a cover by a Russian illustrator, Igor Varavin.
