Everything started few years ago when the two Guillaume where in the same history class one playing drums and the other playing guitar. Then started to play with some other friends of the school playing some punk covers and trying to write some originals but it ended soon after some band problems. So both Guillaume still playing together found 2 new musicians to play in 2005 summer but now some alternative metal after a bit of musical interest evolution but this time this was still covers and no originals so the band gets separate too. After a while, both Guillaume were still playing together but one time we tried a new bassist ( Junior-still in the band today) and a new guitarist to play metal again but a bit harder! After writing a 2-3 originals we did our first show in M-C school for the Peru Project but after this show our second guitarist left. After a long reasearch for a second guitarist we finaly found Simon ( still in the band today) and Marco on vocals. After some shows and winning Emergenza's first round Marco decided to left beacause of our hardcore influences with scream and grunts. Now searching for a singer Simon was able to Scream so we decided to put Simon on vocals and to find another guitarist. Since the begining the band had few names but after Marco has left we were now in january 2007 and then with the new idea of an hardcore band with Simon on vocals came our name Angels From Above. Celebrating our first year as a band we search for a long time and try a dozen of guitarist to finaly find Julien as our second guitarist. We recorded our demo in early december 2007 and mixing it until the first week of january.Between the recording and the release some changes we're made again to replace Julien by Bertin Gagnon as our new second guitarist. March 15th FINALY OUR DEMO RELEASE, a sick show with all st-jean metal bands and Ion Dissonance.. Now as a 5 piece hardcore/death metal band Angels From Above is ready to make your ears bleed and destroy the place. Keep it HxC!
