In mid 2010, coming from different areas of Tarragona (Spain), Eric Martin - guitar, Hector Monclus - vocals, Elias Ortega - guitar, Uri Amat - bass and Dani Galvez - drums, joined together to form a band in which they could each fuse their musical influences. Although all of them had previously been in other bands and had diverse musical tastes, the songs that they started to compose had mostly a clear matalcore sound with some technical and melodic riffing, that combined with a gutural voice, resulted in a style with its own nuances.

A few months later, Dani Galvez due to personal decisions decided to leave the band and in March of 2011, Uri Amat, the bass player up to that point, decided to take on the drumming leaving the bass tasks to Dani Ponce.
After Dani Ponce joined, months of rehearsing and composition continued with the main target of achieving a sufficiently good and extense set list as to be able to start playing live. Also during that period began the search of a name for the band. After shuffling many possibilities and ideas, they reached an agreement, they would be called ALONE IN ROSWELL.

On January the 14th 2012, ALONE IN ROSWELL made their debut live appearance getting a positive response from the audience and from the local scene. This allowed them to play in several of the venues from the province of Tarragona.
In May 2012, the band finished the studio recording of their first EP entitled "ENCOUNTER E.P.", consisting of two songs; Acid Rain and Red-dyed Mask, once again receiving good reactions among the audience.
At the moment the band is trying to make itself known, allowing the free download of the EP through their facebook, and searching to play the maximum number of concerts as possible.
