Biografia : A Gruesome Find

A GRUESOME FIND was created in April 1998. The project was a result of musical differences in a Death Metal band called CARRION. With a passion for playing extremely heavy, melodic music with atmosphere, several line-up changes occurred in order to find the most suitable musicians with the same musical goals in mind.

Finally, in October of 2001, an adequate line-up was recruited and the music making began in full force! A five-song demo was recorded several months later and heavy gigging ensued to help promote the release.

In July of 2002, vocal duties were placed in the hands of Naberius, a substantial addition to the group. Again, new music was being written at blistering speeds and several months later, a full-length recording called "The Fire That Burns In Hell" was produced. More shows were played to promote and many promos were sent overseas for review and radio play.

In August of 2005, the band's third release - "Minions Engage" saw an International debut being signed to Crash Music. The band came to an abrupt halt in April of 2006 when longtime dummer and bass player decided to part ways, leaving the band in need of critical musicians.

In December of 2006, former FOREVER LOST drummer, Lord Cessna, was recruited to fill the empty throne and in April of 2007, GENOCYA bassist, Lord Albrecht, completed the band with the lower denomination it desperately needed.

The band rehearsed at feverish pace and entered the studio in June 2007 to record the band's fourth release - "Of Blood and Nobility". The band's latest masterpiece, released in December 2007, is offered in a 6-panel Digi-Pak with an hour of music that is sure to please the most devout metal fan.
