Vulvagun

Wayne Dwyer: Lead Vocals, Guitars and Keys.

Wayne was born in England and grew up in Australia where his heritage lead him to seek out the best of British music. With early influences like Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Yes, it's not hard to hear what musical landscape Wayne likes to wander in.
Wayne's clean but aggressive vocal style is comparible with his heroes Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Biff Byford, Ozzy, Dio and James Hetfield. As a guitar player he is influenced by Hetfield, Scott Ian and Tony Iommi.
Wayne started his musical career in the teenage metal outfit Sea Wolf, who were for a while one of the youngest bands to ever grace the stages of Melbourne pubs. He then went on to form Dead Zone with Chris, and later joined thrash metal outfit Tahkisis. They were later joined by Chris and changed their name to Captain Trips, a band known for their progressive thrash in the vein of Forbidden and Testament. Wayne also played drums for three piece extreme metal/punk band Martian Beer Pigs.
Later, Wayne went on to form professional working bands with some of his old pals from Sea Wolf and forged a career as a singer, and more importantly, as a producer/engineer of local bands. Vulvagun is the culmination of all of Wayne's experiences in the fields of music and art.
Wayne is currently producing albums for Luthor, Vahrzaw and the newly reformed Sea Wolf.

Wayne Deep Down:

"I HATE things like crime, corruption, violence, animal cruelty, child abuse, ignorance, stupidity, selfishness... So, you see, hate can be a positive word, and a positive emotion. Don't confuse it with anger. These are some of the ideas I hope to express with my music.
I record in my home studio with various recording techniques from outboard digital hdd recorders to straight-to-pc recording........ I have also recorded my music under the title of "Nausea" and I will upload some of that older material in the future. I hope you enjoy some of the tracks I've been working on from my home studio, just outside Melbourne, Australia.........
