Roger Smith was born in England, schooled in America and then returned home.
He lived in Bristol, Seattle, Huntsville, Cocoa Beach and currently lives near Bath.
In Alabama, he was a member of several bands, Bloody Mess 1984-1988, Malignant Faith 1987, Metamorphosis 1988 and was best known at the time for Humanicide 1988-90. With Humanicide he played Bass and travelled all over the South Eastern United States gigging and growing the fan base. He left the band to briefly move to Florida, before returning to the UK. He now works on original tracks with his progressive rock band Blak Hohl, this band does not do live gigs, just songwriting and recording for release on Reverbnation.
