Lord Lokhraed (real name Cédric Grégoire, born in 1982) is a French musician from Grenoble, known as the founder, singer, and guitarist of Nocturnal Depression, one of the most important bands in DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal).

Although born with ectrodactyly—a congenital malformation that leaves him with only two fingers on his left hand—he has developed a unique guitar technique, making this disability an essential element of his style.

In 2004, with Herr Suizid, he created Nocturnal Depression with the idea of expressing profound sadness, genuine emotional pain, and loneliness, without seeking fame or commercial success. Their music is characterized by melancholic riffs, raw vocals, and profound lyrics evoking suffering and despair.

Lokhraed has played on all of the band's major albums, from Nostalgia (2006) to Tides of Despair (2019). His stage performances are intense and theatrical, reflecting the emotional sincerity of his compositions.

Today, he is considered a major figure in French black metal and an authentic artist who has transformed his suffering into a unique form of musical expression.
