Angel Vivaldi

Angel Vivaldi was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey in 1985. He began playing guitar when he was 15 or 16 years old, and started out by playing for a local band from 1999 to 2000. He started his own solo project later in 2003, which included drummer Bill Fore, who plays drums for melodic death metal act Blinded In Bliss and formerly played drums for progressive metal band Mutiny Within. After his release of "Revelations" in 2008, he was invited to join the melodic metal band Black Market Hero. Angel also played in live performances for other bands such as With Daggers Drawn, Enstride, and Methodical.

He was inspired by Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and Kirk Hammett of Metallica to play the guitar. After the release of his first solo demo in 2003, he discovered the works of guitar heroes Yngwie Malmsteen and Eric Johnson, and was thus inspired to take up the melodic metal genre. He also afterwards started playing the 7-string guitar. Other influences include Mattias Eklundh of Freak Kitchen and Brazilian jazz musician Tania Maria.

Angel's first guitar was a Silvertone. He now uses custom 7-string Agile guitars and endorses Peavey Amps. He also uses EMG pickups for his guitars.
