Here it is again, The feeling to have listened to something very specialafter the first runs of the new MYSTIC PROPHECY album “Fireangel“. At the very beginning of the opener "Across The Gates Of Hell" the neckmuscles are that heavily loaded due to the steadily headbanging that you only hear your vertebras snapping.Wow, this is a wicked sound and a brute impetus which is pushed into your auditory canals. I have expected some innovations after fresh blood came into the band.......but not that “Fireangel“ will be such a mega piece!!!! You ask yourself when listening to all the wicked solis who is Gus G (ex guitarist and now for along time successful with Firewind). This raw,but filigree power is unbelievable. You someway think that Markus Pohland Constantine play the guitars at MYSTIC PROPHECY for ages which is not quite right. The new rythm gang (Connie Andreszka - bass and Steve Dittrich – drums) also takes no prisoners and stomp everything into the ground. Yes, and what does the head of the band R.D. Liapakis onvocals...an incredible job which I never undreamed of. E2Lia“ reaches unbelievable highs with his voice.....unbelievable, but just 100% true!!!!“Fireangel“ is all in all an album on which they put consciously more emphasis on variety and clean melodies. Hammerhard and ultra fast missiles like the already mentioned "Across TheGates Of Hell" or "Death Under Control", but also songs provided withan unbelievable groove like "Father Save Me" or "Devils Crown".Actually it is completely wrong to highlight one of the elevensongs....., because all songs are incredibly strong and simply makehunger of more from the Metal forge MYSTIC PROPHECY.“Fireangel“ is for me just yet the Power Metal album of the year 2009 !!!! Who do not believe me should storm on May, 22nd2009 the shop of his record dealer of trust and buy the cd. It might be possible that you will suddenly have a convertible on your homewardbound...., because the sound is that brute and sets new standards so that the top of your car will fly off !!!BUY and listen, listen, listen..........That's all I'm saying......
