MSNBC.com is reporting that 28 year old Shanna Spalding, who goes by the stage name Purgatory in New York Death Metal band Divine Infamy, was arrested leaving a SoHo store she had allegedly robbed while wearing a cat mask. Spalding is also suspected of robbing three other stores while wearing the cat mask.

Divine Infamy's MySpace blog was updated today with the following brief message indicating the band will still be playing upcoming live shows: 'Despite what has been happening with our vocalist we will be playing "The Water Grill' tomorrow night as planned."
