1997-2000
Physically VESANIA exists since the end of the 1997. At that time the line-up was: Orion - guitars and voices, Daray - drums and percussion and Heinrich - bass. As the time passed, it came out that there is a need to expand. Thus joined Hatrah - keys (the first recording - reh tape comes from that period) and then Annahvahr - guitars and voices. The end of 1998 was a time of recording fifteen minutes long studio material, which had become "CD promo 1999". Not long after that we had to take up the decision of putting keys into studio instrumentation. The position was vacant for a long time until Fall 2000, when new keymaster - Siegmar - joined the band.

2001-2002
The band performed in several cities in Poland and as far as performing is concerned we think of the live expression as the very important part of our art. All that time, simultaneously, we were working on material for a full length album. Then, in the beginning of 2002, the material from 1998 has been released by Odium Records as the "Moonastray" limited edition split CD with Black Altar.

The breakthrough of 2001/2002 we set up for the recording session, but later on it appeared to take more time than we have expected and it delayed until spring 2002. We worked in Selani Studio (Vader, Christ Agony, Lux Occulta), with Szymon "Szymonaz" Czech as the producer.

2003
The "Firefrost Arcanum" debut cd was released on January 2003. The label handling publishing and promotion is Empire Records, which is the one we signed up with.

The release of "Firefrost Arcanum" was a total breakthrough for the band. Since the time of the premiere of the debut album, VESANIA appeared often in any kind of musical media in Poland, but not only, because in the spring of 2003, album was released in Europe too (by Crash Music). And so, VESANIA performed some live shows, Metalmania Festival 2003 among such bands like Samael, Marduk, Malevolent Creation, then a tour (Blitzkrieg Tour 2003 with Vader).

Annahvahr left the band this year, so he was replaced by the session guitarists for live performances.

2004
The time passed, two of the members joined two other bands. Yet in 2003 Orion joined Behemoth, Daray replaced Doc in Vader in spring 2004. But VESANIA exists continuously. So in the end of 2004 we started recording session of the second album, "God The Lux". The studio we chose was Hendrix Studio (Behemoth, Azarath, Thunderbolt, Asgaard) in Lublin, with Arkadiusz "Malta" Malczewski as sound engineer.

2005
We finished "God The Lux" at Hertz Studio (Dies Irae, Decapitated, Lost Soul, Sceptic, Crionics) in Bialystok. And so we did the mixing and mastering of the album with Wieslawscy brothers.

Another breakthrough for the band, the most important so far, was signing of a new deal, with Massive Management (Vader, Decapitated). The label handling the release and promotion of "God The Lux" is Empire Records. Polish premiere of the album - 04.2005.
