VerseS" is a Melodic Heavy Metal band hails from Bangalore. Verses was started with an aim to introduce Melodic metal to Bangalore and so the story unfolds. The band started off in 2008 when long time friends Sagar (Bassist back then for the band) met Sandeep (Guitars) since the former wanted to get his Bass guitar repaired. This conversation between friends was over heard by Vinod (Guitars) who happened to be there by chance. So one thing led to another and finally Verses was born, with its earlier members Sagar(Bass/ Vox),Vinod(Guitars), Sandeep(Guitars),Rajiv(Keys) and Vishal(Drums), but took some time off when their drummer quit due to personal reasons. Later on it came alive after 5 months with addition of more fire power - Bitupan (Drums) and Roshan (Vox), into its arsenal. Sandeep later quit the band due to some work related issues and was replaced by Karthik (Guitarist - Asthra).Karthik left the band recently as he went abroad to pursue his master's degree and was replaced by Suraj (Velvet Trap). With the new and a steady line up the band has now found its perfect melancholic sound.
