Tuonenpolku started with their brand of metal style back in 1996 in the town of Riihimäki. Throught the years band has travelled under several different project names. The founder members were Mr.A.T (music) and Mr.A.M (vocals, lyrics). The first demo was a homemade experiment with controversial results. Second demo release took place in year 2000. It was cassette EP with same unique sounds. Through the years there has been several session musicians in the band but the founding members have remained as the backbone of Tuonenpolku. Various duties to country and education kept the band from the spotlight. Now 11 years later Tuonenpolku is currently recording their brand new demo that is yet to named. The "DEMO" is set be realeased on winter 2007/2008. A lot has changed since the early days of Tuonenpolku but founding members and their passion for metal remains.
