THY DISEASE was created in 1999. The first mini-CD entitled "Art Of Decadence" was recorded in December 1999.It consists of four songs, which were composed by the member of the group Yanuary .(the founder of Sceptic). What is more, the band recorded a cover (Madonna"s "FROZEN") which can be found on the same demo as a bonus track. This cover (with female vocals) was sung by Anna Wojtkowiak(Centuria). Mini-CD "Art Of Decadence" is quite known in Polish underground because of its positive reviews in music press. In December 1999 THY DISEASE won the second prize on "Metal Millenium Party"-metal contest for young talents in Krakow. In March 2000 THY DISEASE presented its artistic creativity performing a concert as a support of VADER.
In September the band recorded a promo tape with 2 brand new tracks. In April 2001 Madonna"s cover "Frozen" hit the second place on "Rotten Ten" - metal chart on Radiostacja
After having composed music for the regular album the band concluded the contract with a polish label Metalminds Productions and entered the studio. This contract guarantees publishment of three LP"s of Thy Disease. The first album of Thy Disease entittled "Devilish Act of Creation" was recorded in August 2001 by:

Devilish Act of Creation consists of 12 tracks. Thy Disease is considered as the best polish debut metal group of the year 2001 by the readers of Metalhammer mag. and in similar ranking and the same category in Mystic Art and trashem"all it hit the fifth and sixth position.
The album "Devilish Act of Creation" is distributed in all european countries, and also in Japan, USA and Canada. In March 2002 Thy Disease gave a concert on Metalmania, which is definitely the biggest polish metal festival, with Paradise Lost, Cannibal Corpse, Moonspell, Tiamat, Flowing Tears.
In May 2002 Pinoccio left the band and Alizee666 joined the group as a new drummer.
At the moment Thy Disease have just finished to record its second album entitled Cold Skin Obssesion.
In October 2002 Thy Disease played a concert at cracow television studio Krzemionki with Vader, Krisiun and Decapitated. This performance will be released on Dvd and VHS.
