The band was founded in November 2004 by Judan Tattoo (guitar) and Wladimir Rodrigues (keyboard) in Fortaleza / CE, Brazil.
From 2004 to here there were many processes. Decisions and decisions have been if the band would cover, and that band ... Songs were created ... And if these songs were in Portuguese or English ...
So, in February 2011, Judan Tattoo (Guitar) and Wladimir Rodrigues (Keyboard) decided that the band would follow a new direction. The style would be the alternative gothic metal band, with songs in English and follow band only with copyright and some covers. To start this new era of the band we made a call for Vilma Freire (Vocal) and she stumbled sing in the band.
Later came the decision to create another logo, create a symbol of banda, and finally become a banda "Alternative Gothic Metal" . So the name was changed to "Euphoria" and was created a symbol and a new logo. Few months passed and Vilma Freire was learning to sing the songs of Euphoria, while Judan and Wladimir sought by guitarist, bassist and drummer. Over the months, until they had to banda musicians, were made in MIDI playbacks of music copyright of banda, because in September there would be a recording with vocalist Vilma Freire for demonstration of their songs to the internet. Then, in September 2011, were recorded some songs for the band intertwining a demo of three songs, to be called the Black Spirit, to launch the Internet. The band was showing his style to people over the internet, were placed songs on the band's blog so that people could hear them. There was effects with the release of the demo on the internet. People were dropping our stuff, some sites reported. Earlier this month October Judan Tattoo had to travel to France for work issues. And then, Wladimir Rodrigues would have to take account of the problems of banda alone. Musicians in hunt for, behold, the half of the month of October 2011 came the entry of Jefferson Lima (Guitar). Jefferson came to place more weight on the side of banda Judan Tattoo.
And in November 2011 the band announced the entry of Jonhny Marcel (drums) and Danilo Lima (bass) to join the Wladimir, Judan, Vilma AND Jefferson in banda and complete formation.
During the first half of 2012 the band rehearsed the songs copyright for recording an Promo EP to distribute at an event that was to come in May this year. And in May a site of Portugal http://heavenisnottoofar.webs.com we requested an interview through our email. The interview was a few days before the first show in May via email. To check out the interview just access http://heavenisnottoofar.webs.com/entrevistaeuphoria.htm Days after the interview the band added the "The" in its name and became The Euphoria on grounds that there were already other bands named of "Euphoria". And a few days after the band played their first festival and launched promotional Ep "Winds of the Night" which was distributed at the show and joined the local scene. After the presentation people commented on our facebook page and enjoyed much of the banda. After the event the band was rehearsing other songs copyrighted to increase the set list for the shows and also make recording a debut album in 2013. In December the band made their second and final appearance of the year 2012. And in late December Judan Tattoo (guitar) traveled again to France for work issues. The band will not stop, because the band will have a unique replacement guitarist for shows through March 2013, months that Judan returns to Brazil.
