Serenade is a gothic symphonic metal band from Padua.
The band was born in 2009 from a project by Andrea Bazzon and Claudia Duronio, guitarist and light soprano singer respectively.

Completed by Dario Dugo (bass guitar), Alessandro Defalco (drums) and Filippo Miatto (guitar), they played for the first time on September 2009 with a repertory of covers songs.

The band, after some lineup changes, is now completed by Dario Dugo (bass and growl), Filippo Miatto (guitar), Alessandro Moro (keyboards) and Federico Bressan (drums).

After the first period of studio and live activity based on performing covers of bands like Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, After Forever (also recording a little demo containing covers of Blank Infinity of Epica, Hand Of Sorrow of Within Temptation and My Last Breath of Evanescence), they started working to the repertory of unreleased songs, publishing the four tracks demo Animadversio Debita in September 2010.

The exordium with the unreleased repertory in October 2011, anticipated the release of their debut album Wandering Through Sorrow, scheduled for may 2012 under Revalve Records.
