Riul Doamnei born in September 1999 with intent to play symphonic extreme black metal,inclunding many other influences like thrash and death riffing accompanied to majestic and triumphant atmospheres, gothic overtures and melodic slices, creating a dark oppressive and violent sound, starting immediately to compose their own personal concept of music and lyrics.

Riul Doamnei finds first approvals in its intense live dimension, plaiyng many concerts in the north-est of Italy and becoming a well known reality of underground scene.

In September 2002 Riul Doamnei released its first autoproduced promo cd called "Stramoniologie Des Geistes". The CD includes the integral video clip of the song "Denn Die Todten Reiten Schnell" officially presented at Horror Rock Cafè in Verona with a great response of people.

After the released promo cd Riul Doamnei played in some important stages like: "Live It Metal Festival" with grave Digger, White Skull, Mothercare, Rising fear, Arthemis and "Hallowen Metal Party" with Blood, Dark lunacy, Mortuary Drape. Riul Doamnei has also supported other bands like Dark Quarterer, Node, Necrodeath in some gigs.

In 2005 after the entry of the new keyboard player and guitarist, with the definitive aim to make an important step, Riul Doamnei start to compose new great material and signed for DSR for the first band's full length.

The first full length “Apocryphal” is out now for the independent france label Deadsun records. The album will be out in Japanese and European stores.
