Psychicold is born in june 1997 in Toulouse (France).
At the origine is Fred RAJA, alone faced with an old macintosh and one of the first version of Cubase, a DX7 and a S950 sampler.
He composes a minimalist electro inspired by the first albums of Plastic Noise Experience, Klinik, Leather Strip, Calva Y Nada...
The first result is translated by the first demo in three tapes "The Pain" in 1998.

After some working months and acquisition of a nord rack 2 and a S2000 sampler
came the recording of the maxi cd "Das Dritte Auge" in the Autumn productions studio (France) in 1999. 4 titles autoproduce in 500 copies come into the world with lyrics signed by Arnaud Spitz (Modern funeral art).
Psychicold's music evolves fast after this first recording experience in studio.

The composition of the album "Inner Chaos", inspired by in most cases
by the movies of Lynch, Carpenter, Cronenberg, as well as all brought
forwardand dark, squalid, cold words began then.
After the meet with Esther Candaes who integrates the project as second
sing in july 2000.
The new line-up revises the ancient songs and Psychicold plays live for the first time at " la trajedia dell arte" ( Monpellier,France) in december 2000, then in Rennes (France) in june 2001.
Then starts the recording of the album "Inner Chaos" after some working months the album comes into the world.
The sound of PSYCHICOLD has profoundly evolved and the title " Electroshock"
is a real succes.

After some lives in the north and southeast of France, the band must momentarily stop. Esther's timetable not allowing her any more to work that ponctually on the project.
The band will now a long stage of wait then, during who fred will dedicate himself to the new album work...
Then in the indusrial project Psykold (a title which appears on the compilation "trees on oscillation vol2").
And finally in the gothic, dark wave project Amiotik much more personnal and oriented to poetry and dark romanticism.
After a stay of two years in London where fred finalized Amiotik's voices recording.
He came back in france where he worked on guitars recording with Erika Amalahouch and a first demo mastered by VX69.
Then second guitars played, recorded, mixed (protools edition) by Thomas Hilbert (Tomnanbule).
