Perverse Imagery was formed as a one man band shortly after the teen Darryn M. Palmer, 15 at the time of the bands formation, fell in love with brutal death metal and goregrind.

He was quick to release something. His first song as Perverse Imagery was a simple slam song childishly named "I Hate Facebook", the song can still be heard on myspace.

About six months later Palmer put out 5 songs. 4 of which where and Anal Cunt influenced noisegrind, the other a cover of Waking the Cadaver's "Chased though the Woods by a Rapist". Only one physical copy of such material exists.

Palmer then went back to Perverse Imagery and recorded two songs, "Rancid Diarrhea Pussy"; which reappeared on the Carnal, Bloody, Unatural ep, and "New Age Cannibalistic Murder Society" which was never used again.

Palmer then left music for some time but at the end of 2011 he released two doom metal songs under the name Stone Age Anarchy. The release was nearly 12 minutes long and was titled the Trials of a Homeless Man demo. 5 physical copies of this release where made and handed out to close friends.

Palmer then returned to Perverse Imagery a third time and since has released the Carnal, Bloody, Unatural ep on Face Down Ass Up Records and the April Fools ep himself. Palmer is currently working on a split CD; of which will be out on Face Down Ass Up Records and a Full-Length who's label is not yet known.
