Formed in 2004 as a permanent 2 man project playing depressive black metal with influences from Striborg, Xasthur and Silencer.

Even though both members have side projects this is the main band of theirs. Lyrics are extremely personal expressions of suicidalism, grief, bereavement, alienation, mental illness, nature, dark, profound beauty and obscurity.

After the first demo more experimentation was done to create a sound unlike that of any other, a mix of black metal, funeral doom and dark ambient or "black ambient doom"

The demo "Bleak Descent Into Shades Of Depression" is purely depressive black metal with some ambient parts, whereas the upcoming full-length will be in the aforementioned "black ambient doom" style.
