Nebel Torvum is a single person project which came into existence during the Winter of 2001 - 2002. Although composing for a number of years, it wasn't until recently that the idea came to record previous compositions as well as progress in terms of writing material.

Towards the end of the Summer, in 2002, the name Nebel Torvum came into existence. 'Nebel' comes from my native language, German, meaning 'Fog' and 'Torvum' meaning 'Grim'. Though German is his native language, and the language in which he first spoke, he was born in Ontario, Canada and continue to reside there.

Inspiration for his project, Nebel Torvum, comes from a variety of sources, but mainly Nature, Philosophy and personal quest for knowledge. In early May 2003, a demo CDR of his work will be released through Oisin Productions entitled 'Echoes of Nature'. This will be limited to 100 copies with pro-printed cover.
