MYSTES has been formed in 2001 as initiative of Beladroh voc and Agonus-guitar to spread satanic ideas by the music.

Thot and Zefyros has joined to the band so finally line-up stabilized as : Agonus (guitar), Beldaroh (vocal), Thot (bass), Zefyros (drums).

In 2002, they recorded first demo : "Pure Evil". Agonus has joined to Besatt and recorded with them : "Roots of Evil"-MCD. It contained new songs and two covers : Gorgoroth-Gorgoroth and Kreator-Tormentor.

In the January 2003 has been recorded two Besatt songs for split called "Scream of the Eastern Lands", where besides Besatt following bands took a part : Dub Buk, Inferno, Immortal Hammer, Negura Bunget, Verdeleth.

In 2004, Besatt recorded their fourth album called "Sacrifice for Satan". In April 2004, band recorded 3 tracks for split LP with Armaggedon (France), Inner Helvete (Portugal), Misanthropy (USA). Those tracks were also released as split CD with Arkona and Thirst. Shortly after this, Agonus left the band and go to army to one year.
Agonus formed new line up : Agonus (drums), Armagog (bass) and Setheroth (guitar and voc).

In 2005, Mystes recorded new demo "Land Of Satan". Shortly after this, Armagog and Setheroth left the band.

In 2007, Mystes in new line up : Agonus (guitar), Beldaroh (bass and voc), Morbid (drums) recorded MCD "From the Battlefield".

Now the band work on the new material.
