Mummified started out in May 2003 with the following line up:

Ronald (Esophagus) ------------------------------> Ex Pseudostratiffied Epithelium
Christian (Guitars/Bass) ------------------------------> Ex Eternal Torment
Fabian (Guitars) ------------------------------> Ex Cangrena
Chuz (Drums) ------------------------------> Ex Cangrena

All together with the same intention, to exclusively satisfy their fascination for the most brutal and heavy genres of metal Death-Grind-Gore.

By early 2004, they join efforts recording the first work of the band “Protocol Of Mummification”, which contains 5 tunes of pure death/gore with some hints of grind & Doom.

Right after these recordings were completed, Fabian and Chuz as well, decide to leave Mummified, so Ronald and Christian kept working to release the protocol to the public.

In April 2005, the whole thing is released, in CD format, full color cover, lyrics, and photos.

With the work officially released, the first reviews remarked the band's potential in the genres of Death-Grind-Gore, as well as the obscure in the music atmosphere.

With the Protocol in most of the Metal Shops, the band achieves an agreement with GOREGIASTIC RECS (USA) for them to distribute the Protocol in the States.

After several failed attempts to recruit new members and complete the Mummified line up, it wasn't until June 2007, that suddenly, three psychos appear fitting perfectly with band's concept.

Marcell Dahmer ( Drums ) ------------------------->Empathy

That along with Ronald (Esophagus) and Christian (Guitars), complete the line up.

Being completed, the band is currently working their newer stuff for what is going to be the band's debut full length album EMBALMING THE NAZARENE to be released by late 2007 or early 2008.
