It all started back in 1996 as a four member Hardcoreband. In these days two demotapes and a
full-length CD were recorded and Lowlife played several shows in Germany.

In 2000 a new drummer and a second guitarplayer came into the band and brought a more
metalstyle into Lowlife without denying their Hardcore roots. This was long before the so called
“Metalcore” became a trend.

This lineup recorded 2 CDs and played a lot of shows in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy with
bands like Ignite, Morning Again, Gang green, 25 ta Life, Cataract, Maroon, Crisis never ends,
Despise and a lot more, and finally Lowlife found a home on Keep the spirit alive-Records.

But in december 2004, Lowlife split up as a result of personal problems and musical differences.

Only two months later, two of them, guitarplayer Matze and vocalist Markus decided to go on with
the band and don´t let this thing die that means so much to them.

With a new drummer and bassplayer they are back on the map again, writing new moshing
Hardcore songs and will hit the road again in early 2005.
